Debbie ~ I have read you blog and wonder your personal opinion about all of these online jobs. Are they worth the time and investment? Can one make a living at this and feel they have contributed to society and have self fulfillment? Does a person get totally ripped off by earning a few cents for all their labor? Yes, I do believe that you can make money from blogging, but you should be in a niche area where you become an expert. Your blog needs to be found though so particular attention to keywords and SEO is important. Plus, joining communities in the niche area. However, it could lead to other monetary benefits i.e. speaking engagements.
Outside of that I know copywriters and other internet marketers that make money online and some are with Affiliate products and consulting.
The key is that it takes commitment, time and consistency. Also, a bit a self-marketing, too. Just sitting back and waiting to be discovered probably won’t get anyone very far. Plus, there are plenty of people starting home based businesses where they need to attract people to their opportunity and blogging to establish trust and respect can lead to developing relationships. So, there are many ways that this can be approached through blogging.
